Trends move toward smartphone screen sizes getting bigger. Just look at the Samsung Galaxy Mega from having a super large screen size, at 5.8 inches. Other producers did not miss spawned a jumbo-sized device.
Even so, apparently not all players in the industry are willing to submit to such trends. Motorola Contohya he evidently would declare themselves against the current. The trick by not making the "bigger", but "better".
"There are people who like big screen, but there are many who want a smartphone that 'just right'. I think the 'fit' is important here, so we designed the phone so as not to disappoint these people," said the design of Motorola's Jim Wicks, was quoted as saying PC Magazine.
Motorola is a manufacturer of mobile phones which Google acquired in May 2012. After the release of the Razr line of Android-based smartphone, the manufacturer is currently designing a new smart phone under the "guidance" Google.
Reportedly also, the next series of the Nexus smartphone from Google will be constrained by Motorola.
Well, that screen size remains satisfactory, Motorola tried to minimize the size of the bezel (frame) around the screen. The goal is that the screen can look great even if the device is small. "It was like the TV alone, you definitely do not want to watch her frame," added Wicks.
Not only minimize the size, Motorola is also fighting against the flow through the application of some other things, including minimizing the amount of bloatware (software pre-installed) and avoid "war hardware specifications".
"We believe the better way is to think of the consumer, rather than the specification. Touting the specification of a trivial way, I think it's not an answer," said Wicks.
As to whether the smartphone "ideal" style of Motorola's next? Let us wait for its appearance.
